does the water flood on this map, or are the puddles fixed?

Hee. I'm afraid I don't have enough holds to put that off forever. Took too many firebots and not enough puffers. |

BTW, do you want to kill #2460? I think that's the "old" map. |

Agreed. Duels and Eliminator are sort of the opposite ends of the "is it okay to take/force self-damage?" question. On multiway maps, I think that forcing self-damage will tend to be in your best interest as long as you have other nearby neighbors to attack; since Eliminator forces a series of duels, you need to minimize the amount of self-damage you take and force. |

In the Last Words of 2440, Vynce noted:
Clearly, I did something very wrong.
I think I can answer "what happened?" here. In the case of Loki and Poly, Vynce did 1 and 3 HP damage to each, respectively. In the case of dobnarr, Vynce did 3HP less of damage, but because Vynce's HP were worth significantly more, that translated to a 16 point deficit. Likewise, while Vynce had a 15 HP advantage over wolff, that translated to just under 10 points. In the end, wolff ended up just 2points ahead of Vynce because wolff had 0 self-damage and Vynce had nearly 16. I'd say the self-damage did you in. Also, firebots are awesome on the team perpendicular to you, but not so much on the team on your diagonal. rubrick abused me terribly by keeping his guys *just* out of my firebots' range on the diagonal. |

I'm clearly the one who's confused. It makes sense that they have to be something other than "walls" because the solid brick walls are indestructible, so the idea that a steel version of a wall would be destructible doesn't make sense. I mean, that would be like having destructible steel doors and indestructible foliage. I mean,.. oh. Hey. Been living on Tau Ceti too long. |

Ah, I thought those were steel walls? Or is it a different style of steel door that doesn't have a door handle? |

2457-HallOfMirrors. Stats page says I had 1 roll, but I shot several walls with the exec. Is lggwg only counting rolls against targets that score points now? |

I'm very slightly worried that the 2 firebot build is overpowered, but think there are useful countermeasures. Clearly, this map requires more playing! A 4-team version of the map would be cool. |

Based on the avg die rolls in the latest eliminator game, I think there's a missing line the snipey damage code. Are you sure you remembered to add: if ( username=='wolff' ) damage=6 ? I thought not. |

Weird. I'm not experiencing this issue (yet). You're also still very much alive on Eliminator (2403), but dead on Glaive (2406) on turn 10, I think? |

It is definitely an earned vulture, loki; congrats! Cheers to wolff for implementing higher levels! Ohhh, ohhhh, the pain of the 4000XP hit. Now I need to work harder to keep rubrick off my back. (cue "eye of the tiger" :-) |

They scatter breadcrumbs for birds, IIRC. I had one in the 1st beta, but not in the 2nd beta. |
