Yes, exactly. Pretty interesting map; Devolver has worked hard to balance it.

the current rules for team assignment & scrambling are particularly frustrating with this map. I jsut defended last time I played; I haven't been an attacker in a while. I'd love to play, but I'd prefer to be on offense. I would take a 1 in 3 chance at being on defense, but at the moment, there's no way to do that. there's a game currently waiting for players that i would join if i thought i had reasonable odds of being an attacker, but as it is, i'm waiting for two defenders first.

I could cancel it and restart and put you in an attack slot if you wish. In fact, if anyone else would like to request a team, I would be more than happy to assign them.

Yes, I do think it would be nice to see what one is getting into before one commits to a game (a foxhunt game from when I was new comes to mind, little did I know that I was going to be the fox).

On the other hand, there are maps like Gladiator Ally that I really prefer to have the teams be a surprise (I got alex this time, Woot!)

Perhaps another check box on the new challenge screen to either enable or disable being able to see which team on which one will be.

Also, I will restart the game later today (4/8) to give others a chance to claim a side if they so choose.

I feel compelled to point out now that I've never won a game of GladiatorAlliance. (Okay, it's a sample size of 2, but still...)
